Combined Insurance AVP Underwriting, Risk Management, Chubb Healthcare in United States

Responsibilities: • Identify specific consultative services to West Coast clients which are based upon an analysis of clinical, operational, and business exposures inherent to Chubb Healthcare’s strategic business plan. • Provide a broad range of client specific risk management consulting activities for West Coast clients through the consulting process of review, analysis, recommendation, and implementation of proactive risk reduction strategies. • Promote risk control services to insureds to facilitate retention and attract new business. • As an integral part of the risk selection process and underwriting profit, conduct a thorough review, analysis, and determination of risk exposures of prospect accounts. • Collaborate with the Claims Department to ensure early identification of claim trends, frequency, and risk issues in order to control loss exposure and costs. • Assist with the management of Chubb Risk Management Hotline. • Assist in the development of new products and service innovations which will give Chubb Healthcare Industry Practice (CHIP) a competitive edge, maximize the image and market share. • Promote open interaction among CHIP underwriters and claim teams to cultivate a working environment committed to effective communications, team building, respect and cooperation. • Participate in marketing initiatives for CHIP. • Develop and strengthen professional relationships with brokers, clients, and professional networks to promote CHIP in the marketplace. • Expand and enhance knowledge of industry trends within specific states in order to identify, develop and expand the scope of required consulting activities. * Qualifications:* • Knowledge of the healthcare industry • Healthcare consulting experience required • Graduate degree in Business or Healthcare preferred • Undergraduate degree in related discipline required • Strong interpersonal skills • Excellent oral, verbal, and presentation skills * Expectations:* • Team player • Multi-task oriented • Effective project management skills • Able to work in changing environment • Ability to function independently and make independent decisions • Travel flexibility to meet business needs • Sensitive and responsive to needs of business partners Job Underwriting Title: AVP Underwriting, Risk Management, Chubb Healthcare Location: null Requisition ID: 312511
