Plantronics Commissions Process Lead in United States

This hands-on role leads the process to manage and calculate commissions for the global sales team. This associate will work closely with Finance teams, Sales teams, and a Commissions Analyst to create and maintain commission plans in our business systems. The candidate will work to continuously improve commission business processes integrated with Oracle OBIEE, Hyperion Essbase, and SalesForce.com. This is a highly visible position which requires strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the sales commission business processes

  • Assure quarterly sales commissions are accurately paid on time each quarter

  • Coordinate updates and scoring of Sales Incentive Plans (SIP) in the systems with the Commissions Analyst

  • Business partner with Sales Finance, Sales Management, IT, and HR to improve Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) processes and systems

  • Coordinate problem solving with the Sales Finance, HR, and IT teams

  • Create documentation and training materials

  • Build analytical models to perform ad-hoc analyses

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA or equivalent in Accounting, Information Systems or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience as a business intelligence analyst, financial analyst, or equivalent

  • Experience with business process improvements

  • Expert level proficiency with Microsoft Excel

  • Experience with Oracle Business Intelligence (OBI), Essbase, SalesForce.com or similar BI reporting tools

  • Experience performing detailed analysis and developing financial models

  • Strong understanding of accounting and finance business processes

  • Excellent communicative and interpersonal skills

  • Creative, innovative, organized, multi-tasking, and detail oriented
