Verizon Wireless Senior Supply Chain Planning Analyst in Warren, New Jersey

What you’ll be doing...

The Supply Chain Senior Analyst will be responsible for the management of communications and reporting supporting the Device Supply Planning team. Functions to include the preparation of presentations and OEM scorecards as well as maintaining/developing team dashboards, metrics and training materials. These initiatives can also be cross-functional within Verizon.

Specific responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Preparation of weekly deliverables/read outs to Senior Leadership.

  • Support preparation of key Supply Planning metrics such as valuation.

  • Preparation of OEM scorecards.

  • Support teams in project deliverables including assisting in presentation materials.

  • Managing launch checklists ensuring cross functional teams are aligned.

  • Preparation of ad hoc presentations and reporting as needed.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Knowledge of inventory management principles and practices.

  • Experiencewith Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.

  • Strong forward thinking and analytical skills.

  • Strong customer interfacing skills with both internal and external customers.

  • Ability to effectively communicate using tools such as PowerPoint and Visio.

  • Ability to perform advanced statistics and data analytics.

  • Strong leadership skills.

  • Willingness to work flexible hours and schedule.

  • Ability to work within cross-functional teams.

  • Ability to communicate effectively throughout multiple levels of the organization.

  • Ability to manipulate large quantities of data to drive business decisions – expert in Microsoft Excel and expert in Microsoft SQL.

  • Lean Six Sigma.

  • APICs training /certification.
