Summary:TheApplication Systems Analystunder general supervision, develops applications and technical solutions to address user needs for the Federal Election Commission (FEC).

  • Assists in the design, development, and testing of communications software interface programs.

  • Ensures the implementation and testing of projects.

  • Evaluates interface between hardware and software, operational requirements, and characteristics of overall system.

  • Establishes and documents system parameters and formats, ensures hardware and software systems compatibility.

Non-Essential Duties:Other duties as assigned to support business needs.

Minimum Qualifications:(To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

  • Bachelor’s degree, or 5 years of experience in telecommunications or enterprise systems analysis and development.

  • Possess strong communication, interpersonal and team-building skills.

  • Knowledge of supporting complex applications and systems.

  • Ability to translate customer needs into service requirements.
