Position Title Navy Business and Financial Support - VIRGINIA Class Program Office

AECOM is actively recruiting for a mid-level Financial Analyst for work in the area of Business and Financial Management Support for the VIRGINIA Class Submarine Program Office (PMS450) with demonstrated skills in Budget and Financial Analysis for a Navy submarine subsystem program office.
The successful candidate will provide contractor technical support services to the Business and Financial Manager of the VIRGINIA Class Submarine Program Office (PMS450).
Primary responsibilities consist of: Attend Bottom Up Reviews and other discussions to establish NPES SCN Requirements; Review all request for funding (ITMP's, TI's and COR Spreadsheets); Attain Tasking approval by APM prior to execution; Provide instructions for processing specific funding via Funding Documents; Post and Track Requirements and Execution via an Excel Database; Reconcile Database against ERP monthly; Respond to all correspondence such as requests for data from the Front Office or trouble shooting a funding discrepancy with the PARM or the Activity; Assist in the preparation, review, analysis and maintenance of financial documents for RDT&E,N, OPN, and O&MN appropriations; Monitor execution by appropriation and performer and prepare analyses and reports to financial and program managers; Develop spreadsheets, and routine program financial analyses; and generate reports and documentation as directed; perform other general administrative and program management tasks as directed by the customer.
Position requires interface with program management, business and financial management, acquisition, and engineering personnel in the personnel in the Program Office and at Navy field activities and other contractors as well as financial analysts in the Naval Sea Systems Command Comptroller’s office, annual task planning, including preparation of Individual Task Management Plans and Individual Task Planning Sheets as related to government and contractor activities, and development of the fiscal year spend plan. Support requires utilization of Navy financial tracking systems, including the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) web-hosted tool and maintenance of program-unique financial databases and documents where a good level of skill with Microsoft Excel would be needed.
Significant use of and access to Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Powerpoint, Word), Microsoft Outlook, and Access to multiple Government and Filed Activity databases: U-NNPI Network via CAC; financial databases; NUWC Newport hosted Funds Execution "Tool"; AUTODOC/PRISMS; COBRA; CITIS; eTasker; and ERP (limited Contractor access).
Bachelor's degree in Business/Finance/Economics or related job field and at least seven years of job-related experience or equivalent. Two years of job-related experience may be substituted for each year of college.
An active Government Security Clearance at the SECRET level
Military service and Submarine experience is a plus.
