CACI has an immediate opportunity for a Policy and Governance Analyst to assist a team of CACI staff member provide cutting edge services to the customer!

As a Policy and Governance Analyst, you will be responsible for the maintenance and development of governance elements for a significant IT organization. Part of the RESPONSIBILITIES will include understanding and evaluating customer requirements, business processes, evolving the existing organizational governance process. The successful candidate will engage and assist senior IT leadership in the decision making processes.

The successful candidate will provide support to program managers utilizing the organizational governance process and be responsible for shepherding projects through the governance process. The Policy and Governance Analyst will work with the Project Manager to ensure quality of deliverables meets customer expectations.

Position requires a current TS/SCI with ability to obtain/maintain a DHS Suitability

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under general direction, provides assistance with management of individual tasks of government contracts. Is familiar with the analysis, evaluation, planning, design, development, implementation, and support of integrated systems. Has some experience with business operations principles and methods, including requirements, risk, cost-benefit, economic, application, and process analysis. Is familiar with government systems/equipment acquisition and development processes and life cycle support. May have some capability in a specified foreign language. Has some experience with program, financial, resource, and contract management.

RESPONSIBILTIES:

Provides technical consulting in the planning, direction, and coordination of work activity and training of technical staff stationed locally and at field locations. Coordinates and conducts feasibility studies, concept formulation, development, implementation, operation, and maintenance of various systems, equipment, and procedures. Assists in the benchmarking, qualification, and periodic delivery of program performance metrics to government program management. Assists in the acquisition and production of products and the application of these products to the analytical needs of the assigned program. Conducts prioritization of, and performs the translation, metadata extraction, cataloging, and indexing of data delivered in variety of media. Translates advanced concepts into practical and effective solutions using structured techniques.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Typically requires bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and two to four years of related experience.

• Two to Four years Plus experience performing the below tasks:

o Assisting with governance development and implementation

o Supporting IT projects in varying capacity

o Generation of governance/policy documentation

o Strong experience working successfully in a collaborative environment

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.
