CACI International Program Analyst 2, (Secret), Washington, D.C. in Washington, District Of Columbia
Provide acquisition program management support for Program Executive Officer for Integrated Warfare Systems for the US Navy. These duties include developing and reviewing acquisition documents as required by the Department of Defense and Department of the Navy 5000 series acquisition system policy and instructions; developing and implementing program management and acquisition management strategies and assisting in execution of those strategies and plans; developing and executing procurement plans for systems and equipment for PEO IWS, tracking and monitoring of performance of acquisition programs; developing and managing briefs for leadership such as Baseline Execution Reviews, Milestone Reviews, Gate Reviews, and briefs to Congress; developing and managing Acquisition Reports for Navy and OSD; working with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and Technical Teams; and develop and manage program logistics support.
Provides management, customers, and subcontractors with basic Acquisition technology and information that ensures effective and economical support for products, service, equipment and systems. Determines support requirements including facilities, personnel, safety, supply, transportation, maintenance and services. Analyzes contractual documentation, customer specifications, and related information to identify and document Acquisition related support requirements. Anticipates problems related to operational area and environmental and human factors. Develops and prepares manuals, bulletins, and information systems to provide Acquisition support. May assist in research or technical studies to support logistic functions. May participate in the creation of procedures and communication material that document Acquisition practices. May provide advice and guidance to less experienced staff.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Typically requires bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and five to seven years of related (project support or management) experience.
Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, MS Project, MS Power Point, and Outlook.
Active Secret Clearance
Should be familiar with NAVSEA and PEO IWS Acquisition and Logistics processes at a fundamental level.
Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.
