Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY:

Will serve as the Program Chief of Testing for the Joint Deployable Intelligence Support Systems (JDISS) Joint Program Office. This position is located in DC Metro Area. This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance.

RESPONSIBILTIES:

Lead a team of system and software testers that are independent of staff engaged in product development and integration. The Acceptance testing team will not be engaged in the creation of tested products. Ensure the overall performance and execution of Acceptance Testing for the JDISS program conforms to the JDISS JPO Software Test Plan (STP). Conduct independent testing and evaluation of all new, enhanced, or modified JDISS products and services to include independent review of associated documentation. Operate and maintain the JDISS Acceptance Testing Lab and ensure that the JDISS Acceptance Testing lab evolves in concert with JPO products and that is supports appropriate data feeds, external interfaces, and peripheral Input/Output (I/O) devices.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

BS in IT or hard sciences and 7 years of direct management of DOD / IC software testing including hands-on testing and documentation.

10 years of same experience in lieu of BS.

Certified Test Manager (CST) or equivalent.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Typically requires bachelor’s degree and seven to nine years of related experience.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.
