CACI International Web Developer / IT Specialist (Secret clearance) in Washington, District Of Columbia

Job Description:

To support the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OASD(R&E)) and the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Research (ODASD(R)), CACI is seeking qualified professionals to apply for Non-Personal Services positions as contracted Web Developers / IT Specialists.

This position requires the successful applicant to provide graphics, multimedia, and/or web support for the ODASD(R). This includes drafting and updating content, developing and refining site design and structure concepts as directed, developing html files with supporting graphics and JavaScript code, ensuring compliance with DoD regulations including Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, and coordinating the upload of files to the ODASD(R) websites. The successful applicant will also be responsible for developing, updating, and maintaining a variety of visual aids, including text and illustrations, for highly technical programs/concepts. Additionally, the applicant will produce 2-D and 3-D illustrations from scanned and edited photographs, images, drawings, and charts, to include quickly and efficiently producing high-quality (color, and black & white) viewgraphs, papers, and files in acceptable media formats. The applicant will also produce posters and videos of industrial trade show and conference quality according to the parameters and guidelines (to include timeframes) as the requested by the Government.

This position requires the successful applicant to possess and maintain an active Secret security clearance. The successful applicant must also have five (5) years of experience providing programming, web design, and database management for government/DoD organizations. The Government desires that the candidate be knowledgeable in all areas of graphic design and computer based animation; have experience in computer based graphics efforts in support of DoD or equivalent government organization (e.g., Department of Homeland Security); and experience in communications/public affairs in DoD or equivalent government organization.

High school diploma is required. A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in information technology, web design, or graphic design is preferred. Degree requirement waived in lieu of significant recent and relevant work experience: minimum of five (5) years’ active duty military or minimum of ten (10) years’ experience.
