Current Need

Meditech Administrative Applications Analyst

Position Description

Our current need is for a Product Support Rep 4 / Meditech Administrative Applications Analyst who can work in a diverse healthcare system. Duties will include supporting Meditech 6.0 administrative applications suite (Admissions, Authorization / Referral Management, Case Mix / Abstracting, Community Wide Scheduling, HIM, Medical Records, Quality / Risk Management). Additional responsibilities will include supporting associated 3rd party applications (i.e. 3M Encoder), and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

6+ years product applications support experience

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist personnel and staff with Meditech applications as specified.

· Test, deploy, update, and troubleshoot software.

· Perform routine testing as required.

· Analyze departmental processes as impacted by system design.

· Document processes and procedures.

· Coordinate upgrades of desktop equipment and software.

· Maintain ticketing system for prioritizing tasks.

· Be a point of contact for personnel with IT questions or tasks.

· Round routinely on supported areas for opportunities for improvement.

· Participate in on-call rotation application support.

Critical Skills

· 6+ years with real world application support experience. Ability to work an issue to completion while utilizing available support methods and minimal input.

· Project management background.

Excellent communication skills for corporate IT environment are a must.

Additional Knowledge & Skills

-Working knowledge of healthcare applications and operations.

-Basic familiarity with desktop applications.

-Previous Meditech experience a plus.

Education

BS degree or equivalent experience.
