Serve as a Product Manager for all product content with special emphasis on technical components. Participate in Agile/Scrum development activities as a Product Owner. Responsible for determining and prioritizing enhancements to the product content and methodologies including soliciting feedback from internal and external stakeholders, writing user requirements, user stories and other product documentation. Lead meetings with product development, IT and data operations regarding the product roadmap. Write documentation around new functionality and communicate product management strategy with HDMS staff and clients.

Fundamental Components:

  • Provides support for significant product initiatives.

  • Will independently manage midsize product enhancements.

  • Demonstrated product management skills, with knowledge of product and systems.

  • Deep technical expertise including software framework design, identity management and other related skills.

  • Solicit and document all business requirements and design all user stories and personas for product development of new content.

  • Responsible for maintaining the product backlog and data standardization, soliciting feedback from clients, setting the product strategy, competitive analysis and working collaboratively with product development, engineering and data operations.

  • The product manager will participate in the Agile/Scrum development process as a Product Owner.

  • Communicates product features and fundamental components to the organization that reflects the product and responds to the needs of various stakeholders (i.e., employees, customer).

  • Respond to sales inquiries, RFPs and client presentations.

  • Experience with healthcare concepts and analytic methodologies such as ETGs, ERGs and quality measures.

  • Excellent written and communication skills.

  • Ability to collaborate with disparate groups and deliver results.

  • Masters degree preferred./Represents product strategy in cross functional product development activities.

  • Collaborates with market segments to develop and implement plans to achieve segment product strategies.

  • Ensures that product is designed, developed, implemented and maintained from a business/customer point of view.

  • Performs research and analysis on legislative, competitive and industry issues to recommend new products or product enhancements.

  • Participates in idea generation and project vision session for the development of new products and product enhancements.

  • Gathers and analyzes feedback in support of performance analysis for products and continual improvement./Experience with healthcare concepts and analytic methodologies such as ETGs, ERGs and quality measures.


    3-5 years related work experience.

    Excellent written communication skills

    Ability to work with disparate groups and deliver results

    Product management skills.


    The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
