OurDistribution Business Unit in Europe consists of a distributor and dealer supportnetwork. They deliver reliable sales and service of durable and high performingengine, generator set and aftermarket products to our regionally based (global)partners. Working in a diverse, multi-cultural and innovative space, you’llinteract directly with our customers, build relationships and develop high techsolutions that will fuel your advanced career skill set. This is an exciting opportunity in Wellingborough for a Marine Sales Representative

Cummins Europe is where you can work on industry leading engineering projects, being a key part in the growth of our Marine business in the UK

Your impactwill be seen in these and other ways:

  • Managing and developing customer relationships to achieve sales goals within an assigned sales territory or account in a business to customer environment.

  • Selling company products and services by developing new prospects and accounts.

  • Achieving sales targets and ensures customer satisfaction.

  • Developing relationships to generate customer goodwill and loyalty.

  • Supporting negotiations according to company guidelines.

  • Identifies, researches, and contacts prospective customers and builds positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeat business.


Skills and Experience Required:

  • The ability individual to develop relationships with key partners to enable supply of complex packages and system solutions.

  • This role will require a basic level of technical understanding or willingness to learn to help with support in the Marine Industry.

  • Previous track record of working to achieving targets – preferably in a commercial environment.

  • Ability to coordinate activities with a diverse and distant network

Required Education, Licenses or Certifications

  • _ College, university, or equivalent degree in marketing, sales or a related subject or equivalent industry experience required.

Compensation and Benefits

In return we can offer a salary of between £25,000 and £32,000 and an excellent benefits package
