Based at our Wetherill Park branch but covering the broader New South Wales region, we are currently seeking a Technical Trainer to play a pivotal part in developing, improving and delivering training courses for our branch, customer and dealer partners. Reporting to the Technical Training Supervisor, your primary focus will be to collaborate with the Technical Training Team, to provide effective training to our employees in order to equip them with the capability to continuously deliver a premium service to stakeholders who utilize Cummins products and services.

Key responsibilities will consist of:

  • Creatingand developing relevant course material

  • Deliveringsuccessful training courses

  • Identifyinggaps in any training material/courses to optimize the learning experience of stakeholders

  • Maintainingdocumentation and accurate records

  • Liaisingwith key internal and external stakeholders including distributors, dealers andcustomers to identify training needs and requirements

  • Playinga lead role in ensuring our New South Wales facilities maintain a safe workingenvironment in line with our ‘zero harm’ goal

Ideally, you will possess a comprehensive knowledge of Diesel Engines Technologies from a practical and theoretical perspective. Previous experience in “On-Highway” Heavy Vehicles through a workshop/field service or supporting role would be highly desirable and would allow for a more seamless transition into this position. Formal qualifications in Training and Assessment would also be regarded as favorable but not mandatory. Key to your success in this position will be your ability to build trust and rapport with our internal and external stakeholders through your exceptional communication skills. . The ability to be innovative and adaptable are also important as are problem-solving capabilities.
