Mechanical Engineering Leader 机械设计主管
Manages a segment of a major engineering project or in a total project of moderate scope. Duties include planning schedules, conducting or coordinating detailed phases of testing and analysis of engine and engine related components for stress, strain, fatigue, noise and vibration work performed by a department of engineers and technicians.
Leads a small technical group and works under minimal supervision.
Provides guidance, sets expectations, clarifies responsibilities, and provides feedback for project team members in accomplishing tasks and goals.
Participates as a key contributor and assigns work to meet group commitments.
Influences at department or program management level.
Provides input on program-related decisions.
Proposes innovative initiatives and projects.
Contributes to the solution of complex technical problems; provides resources, removes barriers and ensures application of common approaches.
Demonstrates depth of knowledge of engineering discipline(s) and leverages expertise on other projects.
Identifies developmental needs of group members.
Assists with the transfer of knowledge; coaches and mentors less experienced engineers.
Machine Design - Is aware of and can use/apply the Machine Design knowledge without assistance. Completed at least one formal Machine Design project either independently or with limited assistance.
Component & Systems Development Process - Understands the component (or subsystem) development process and knows the benefits and limitations of development tools, i.e. ESW, Standards, McParts, DVP&R, FIRG, rigs, analysis tools, material limits, and failure analysis techniques. Knows the key tests needed to verify and validate a component or subsystem along with the test plan process. Promotes analysis led design and can facilitate the use of these tools. Able to read drawings and knows CofC features. Understands performance interactions with their component (or subsystem).
Failure Mechanisms - Experienced with applying thermal stress solutions to components. Able to lead a multidisciplinary team through the 7-step problem solving effort to resolve failures. Focuses on the engine conditions driving failures and how to set up and interpret rig and abusive engine tests to define root causes of the failures.
Manage Execution - Solid understanding of how to manage execution. Manages the performance of self and others through the use of structured tools. Delegates effectively and regularly with solid support and follow through. Uses defined processes to manage execution.
Establishes Plans - Solid understanding of how to establish plans. Develops plans that are thorough, realistic, and effective in meeting goals. Uses basic tools, processes and systems to document work clearly. Integrates planning efforts across work units. Translates objectives into clear tactics for execution. Integrates customer feedback into planning process.
Education, Licenses, Certifications
College, university, or equivalent Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent required. Master of Science preferred for advanced work.
Six or more years of experience in focused areas of technical expertise such as engine/generator components or sub-systems, structure stress analysis, finite element analysis, or design.
Support VPI / VPC / PQC projects, to develop new products from concept stage through production: design, construct, test and implement. Complete design task on time at the condition of qualities.
Take the mechanical FEA work and release the technical FEA report for key components, subassemblies and complete machine, by using Pro/e (Creo) and ANSYS software.
Lead mechanical design team on delivery of mechanical task, on new product development, manufacturing support, customer field issue analysis and solve.
Lead mechanical design on concept initial, analysis and validation.
Lead Mechanical structure design for customization product and new product development.
Arrange and coordinate mechanical test internal or external
