Job Description

CACI is seeking for a cleared Government Property professional for Vigilant Pursuit at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Providing day-to-day logistical support using Global Combat Support System – Army (GCSS-Army) and other automation software to monitor and control the efficient flow of property between points of origin to meet customer requirements.

  • Ensure the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistics processes, GCSS-Army, and other automation and electronic data systems and their related functions within the Property Book Office (PBO).

  • Develop solutions to a variety of logistical and accountability issues which occur within the PBO.

  • Frequent internal customer contact on matters pertaining to PBO’s logistics policies, plans, and objectives. Prepare and process FLIPL, DD Form 200, collection vouchers, and AR 15-6 investigations, complying with AR 735-5.

  • Prepare documentation for equipment turn-ins and lateral transfers.

  • Basic knowledge of Army standard supply operating procedures.

  • Ensure documentation is accurate and properly input into the automated system.

  • Receive, process, edit, and track purchase requests.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or 5 years of relevant experience.

  • Experience in Global Combat Support System – Army (GCSS-Army) and/or Property Book Unit Supply Enhanced (PBUSE) at the Unit/Property Book Level.

  • Demonstrates ability to effectively communicate and interface with others orally or written.

  • Proficient with current software applications, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Former MOS: 92Y, Full working knowledge of Global Combat Support System – Army (GCSS-Army) and other DOD logistics software (i.e. PBUSE).

  • Have extensive knowledge of military hand receipt procedures.

  • Knowledge of standard military terminology, processes, and data interchange systems.

  • Ability to act independently with little supervision, extensive communication skills required in written and oral, excellent business management, organization and administrative skills.
