We have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to join our Adelaide Buildings + Places, building services team. The role is ideal for professionals with strong technical backgrounds who are looking for the next step in their career and have an interest in developing detailed design solutions and being responsible for the delivery of a range of exciting electrical engineering projects. This role will give you the opportunity to connect with a large technical team comprised of a diverse range of disciplines, solving complex technical challenges.
The projects you will be working on cover a diverse range of the sectors including Healthcare, Commercial & Education. You will be working with driven professionals across various end-markets who are passionate, smart, creative, curious and quirky but proud to be part of a company that is dedicated to delivering a better world. Some of your key responsibilities will include:
Preparation of design, specifications, reports, calculation, drawings, cost estimation and details/ schedules for projects
Project controls including QA, document control and the like expected for professional project delivery
Undertake site inspections and prepare reports
Development of in house technical documentation
You will have a strong technical background and your attention to detail, ability to prioritise tasks and communicate effectively will help you to work with the broader team to deliver the right solution, on time, every time.
A minimum of 3 years relevant experience delivering electrical services design including lighting, general and specialist power, generators, UPS systems, earthing / lightning protection, power distribution and reticulation
Sound knowledge of electrical wiring rules
The ability to coordinate and liaise effectively with clients and contractors, and experience of construction phase assistance and inspections
A high level of client focus
