Job Description:

Purpose

Provide the most appropriate Retailers in line with Retailer Master Plan, develop a strong Retailer pipeline, understanding & visible expertise in the following areas:

Act as an expert to Retailer pipeline management & support the delivery of new site opening annual plan by opening new sites on time

Collaborate with listed recruiters, franchising associations to create robust and sustainable Retailer pipeline

Deliver on agreed number of New Retailers in a manner that provides assurance of recruitment completion and quality with cost efficiencies within agreed timelines.

Enable Welcome to Shell experience to Retailers and provide them access to required knowledge and skills to perform their roles competently enabled with digital solutions.

Accountabilities

Identify Retailer recruitment needs and be the subject matter expert enabled through strong engagements and partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Design & develop creative, cost effective, fit-for-purpose and sustainable retailer recruitment process that are in line with business requirements and local legislations.

Deliver and evaluate retailer recruitment process for continuous improvement and cost effectiveness.

Manage Retailer Profiling.

Retailer profile is kept updated.

Benchmark value proposition and requirements from new Retailers are upto date.

Financial details to complete financial profiling.

Manage budgets, administration and end-to-end processes governing retailer selection activities.

Manage the recruitment partners, responsible to identify suitable Retailer candidate across Gujarat & Maharashtra as per agreed terms with Shell. Drive and support Retailer recruitment: Ensure Retailers selection is carried out using the recommended tools and supporting data shared with relevant stakeholders.

Retail is a highly dynamic business with business success being heavily dependent on the ability of Retailer to create a positive customer experience at every site, every visit, every day. The Retailer Selection Manager - West will support the India Retail business with a Retailer pool of 50+ Retailers year-on-year in the next three to four years.

Requirements:

  1. Prior experience in recruitment and Commercial roles within Retail are considered.

  2. Strong experience of at least 3 years in retail or recruitment role will be preferred.

  3. Ability to demonstrate and employ strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills across a wide group of stakeholders both internally and externally, in both face-to-face and virtual settings.

  4. Able to work in a virtual environment with high self-accountability and to operate and perform with minimum supervision.

  5. Able to deliver results through others (e.g. External training agency, Subject Matter Experts, etc)
