this role, you will provide strategic leadership and go-to-market support for

Oracle’s marketing platform tools (namely the Oracle DMP and the Oracle Audience

Planner), by helping to position and support the go-to-market efforts into

ODC’s Ad Tech, Consumer Platform and Agency clients. This role has aspects of Strategy,

Product Marketing and Business Development to help increase adoption of ODC’s

DMP and OAP with existing customers and define the strategy and execution for

acquiring new ones.

of a highly impactful team focused on bringing the ODC’s products to their fullest

potential within the channel and agency ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide internal

expertise to ODC DMP & OAP customers

  • Partner with ODC channel,

publisher & agency account teams to improve customer engagement, increase

customer retention and customer acquisition outcomes

  • Participate as a deep subject matter expert in Client presentations for

all components related to DMP & OAP including complete offering/options,

servicing, support, pricing, and required contracting.

  • Support account teams to help respond to all channel RFI and RFPs for

DMP, owning the process, with responsibility for certain content and the

overall deliverable to the client.

  • Modify the

Marketing Platforms play books for clients to align with specific client type

needs (Ad Tech, Agency, Publisher, etc.)

  • Partner with

marketing to build external- facing marketing materials that articulate the

strengths and capabilities of ODC’s DMP & OAP, tailoring the positioning to

different client types

  • Train GTM on

positioning, how to sell and competitive differentiation

  • Help clients

understand what to do once they sign up for a DMP or OAP – including but not

limited to, how to navigate onboarding their data and accessing and leveraging

other 3 rd party data. Ensure

they have a plan in place to optimize satisfaction & adoption.

  • Provide strategic

client account plans inclusive of training & implementing the DMP or OAP play


  • Ensure ODC data

sales are complementary & supported in client Platform strategies

  • Provide guidance

and support with Platforms contracting processes

Required Skills andExperience

  • Deep understanding of the Ad Tech Ecosystem and all of the entities that

integrate with a DMP or a Marketing planning tool, including but not limited to

DSPs, registration-based consumer platforms/publishers, 3p data providers, site

optimization tools, modeling/analytics applied to 1p and 3p data, etc.

  • Deep knowledge of the DMP and Marketing Platforms industry, competitive

landscape, DMP capabilities and Data Driven Digital Marketing use cases enabled

by a modern DMP

  • 10 years of Ad Tech Product Management, Product Marketing, Sales, Sales

Engineering and/or Business Development experience

  • Demonstrated success in a sales engineering role working independently,

but also demonstrating strong ability to work within a team and gain alignment

across functions and teams.

  • Demonstrated

track record of building successful client interactions

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, technical and strategic thinking


  • Strong client-facing communication and relationship management skills

  • Executive presence, strong verbal, interpersonal and written

communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to self-motivate, guide teams, work in teams and

be flexible within a fast-paced and changing environment

  • NY or SF location

strongly preferred

  • Travel up to 25-40%.

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent, MBA preferred

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Builds long term, strategic relationships with named and vertical business alliance partners.

Facilitates the development of strategic marketing and new business plans for all assigned partners to meet or exceed assigned business goals. Works with Partners to identify opportunities and create demand through lead generation activities and target account selling strategies. Actively track joint sales pipeline and meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets. Develop and maintain relationships with global counterparts to leverage corporate initiatives and to ensure adherence to Alliances and Channel standards. Monitor partners business results, making recommendations for improvements to increase penetration for the strategic partners. Establish rules of engagement and operational escalation procedures to quickly identify and resolve issues.

Assists in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives. Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met. Ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations important. Ability to hire and train new Alliance Consultants. Demonstrated track record developing and managing Global Partnerships and driving Partner account activity. Strong analytical, sales channel and marketing skills preferred with the ability to influence.
