The Oracle ID Graph is the core

operating system on which all of Oracle Data Cloud’s (ODC) products are built.

The Oracle ID Graph product team plays a central role working with data

science, engineering, BD and go-to-market stakeholders to define and implement

the strategy to build out the industry’s best identity solution. Given the

critical nature of the Oracle ID Graph to the ODC business, the role is a high

visibility one which will touch multiple aspects of the business.

With the opportunity presented as new

products are rapidly developed the team is growing rapidly with improvement

opportunities and is seeking a leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment,

is an independent self-starter that welcomes challenge, and collaborates across

teams. The Manager will be well versed

in roles including: requirements gathering, workflow design, continuous

improvement, and workflow/systems implementation. Because of the visibility

that this role has within the ODC, it offers the ability to touch multiple aspects

of the business. We also have huge opportunities in front of us: new products,

new client categories, new business models, building a market around our

identity solutions. We’re looking for a hands on product leader that can scale

our product development process, drive our high-level product strategy, and

mentor/grow our existing team.

Job Description

  • Product

vision - Collaborate with senior stakeholders both internal and external, to

create the best in class identity solution in the market and a business line

around the opportunity

  • Product

roadmap - Create and maintain a rolling product roadmap that aligns with

company strategy

  • As

a product leader, grow, mentor, and lead our team of product managers, to help

drive the success of the organization

  • Partner

with Engineering, Data Science, Operations, Sales & Marketing to grow and

operate a highly performing product development process

  • Set

and achieve top- and bottom-line performance revenue targets. Collaborate

effectively across the organization to articulate and align around market

opportunities, requirements, prioritization, and returns on investments for

product decisions

  • Interact

with current and potential partners to aide in business development, feedback

collection, and training of the go-to-market team

  • Represent

Identity across in client conversations supporting other ODC products as well

as Identity products

The ideal candidate:

  • 10 years

relevant work experience

  • 5 years

of experience managing direct reports

  • Bachelor’s

Degree in a technical, scientific, or quantitative field, or equivalent


  • Possesses

a strong attention to detail

  • Strong

strategic, technical and business judgment, ability to make smart trade-offs

between new functionality, product lines, design and engineering investments

  • Experience

working with an agile and distributed development team

  • Strong internal

stakeholder management skills, ability to create corporate-wide alignment

around product vision and prioritization

  • Ability

to develop in depth understanding of a market, including key stakeholders,

collaborators and competitors

  • Strong

written and verbal communication skills

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Manage a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.

As a Senior Director in the product development division, you will lead a team that defines product specifications and or strategy. Gather and analyze information to define product specifications and review design specifications. Envision and communicate product strategy and functionality. Initiate and foster relationships with other groups. Review product documentation and collateral. Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities.

Directs and ensures the implementation of operational policies through subordinate managers. Interacts internally and externally with executive management, providing negotiation of difficult matters to influence policy. Functional expertise and broad company knowledge important. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. Strong communication skills, analytical skills, thorough understanding of product development and product management. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 or more years of software engineering or related experience preferred.
