Summary:

  • TheSharePoint Developeris responsible for developing/maintaining business solutions using SharePoint technology.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:(Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position)

  • Works with a team to develop and troubleshoot SharePoint 2013 business solutions using out-of-the-box features, 3rd party tools, and custom development when necessary.

  • Acts as liaison to NTC SharePoint community to include providing technical guidance and best practices.

  • Conforms to Change Management procedures to plan and execute changes, patches, updates, and migrations.

  • Participates in planning and project development processes

  • Utilizes scripting languages and frameworks such as JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, and Bootstrap

  • Ensures web applications are easy to use, have intuitive design, and follow industry accepted designs

  • Communicates policy, best practices, and procedures to site administrators and members.

  • Creates and maintains technical documentation for all development projects

  • Participates in the creation of user guides and operating procedures

  • Gives presentations to key stakeholders

  • Conforms with Change Management procedures to plan and execute changes, patches, and updates

  • Collaborates with QA to develop test plans

  • Serves customers (external and internal) by focusing on quality as it relates to the customer; listens actively to customer needs and concerns; anticipates customer needs and expectations; selects and explains best solutions to resolve customer problems/concerns; responds expeditiously to customer requests and concerns; ensures customer satisfaction.

  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by studying/reviewing all applicable laws and regulations; attends related educational workshops, seminars, conferences; reviews professional and technical publications; establishes and maintains professional and technical networks/liaisons with subject-matter experts; participates in professional associations.

Minimum Qualifications:(To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

  • 2 years professional experience developing and maintaining business solutions using SharePoint technology

  • 2 years professional experience using at least one scripting language such as JavaScript, ASP.NET C#, REST/Odata, CSS, HTML, ect.

  • 2 Years working as a SharePoint Administrator

  • 2 Years' experience with SharePoint Designer

  • PowerShell scripting experiencepreferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Working knowledge of Windows server and infrastructure (AD, DNS, IIS, SQL, etc.)

  • Knowledge of SharePoint out-of-the-box functionality, idiosyncrasies, and limitations

  • Familiar with SharePoint Object Models (Server- and Client-Side)

  • Experience with one or more SharePoint APIs

  • Strong work ethic, integrity, customer service and communication skills; must be detailed-oriented and self-motivated

  • Strong troubleshooting skills

  • Must be a team player

  • Experience with JavaScript, ASP.NET C#, REST/Odata, PowerShellpreferred

  • Experience with Nintex Forms/Workflows experience -preferred
