Role Summary:* Assists with day-to-day account operations for AWR with focus on monitoring select partner account performance and ensuring all objectives are met. Contributes to the development & execution of account strategies and supports non-traditional partner procurement. Leads efforts to research and resolve partner inquiries for all accounts. Supports account operations initiatives for all partners including onboarding and implementation, billing and technical integrations, as well as product/program launches. Provides strong analytical support delivering timely, accurate performance reports, record reconciliations, and status updates for select partnership accounts. Leads business development and sales team support efforts and training coordination. Assists with the development and implementation of the annual sales and account operations plan. Participates in the development of the annual business development and account operations budget process.
ACCOUNT OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT - INTERNAL*
Collaborates with Business Development / Account Operations leadership to develop account strategies and drives activation to maximize return.
Serves as operations center point of contact for implementation of partner customer information and billing system integrations, delivers required work and impact forecasts.
Works with ITS & technical partners to provide ongoing systemic and operational guidance for partnerships in alignment with account strategies.
Works with account operations leadership and key stakeholders to ensure compliance with partner obligations and guarantees in alignment with partnership contracts.
Puts forth recommendations to optimize strategies, programs and reports to enhance key processes, improve performance benchmarks, and boost operation monitoring.
Assists with development & execution of select account communications.
ACCOUNT OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT - EXTERNAL*
Monitors partner account performance and ensures all objectives are met.
Leads efforts to research and resolve partner inquiries for all accounts.
Provides strong analytical support delivering timely, accurate performance reports, record reconciliations, and status updates for select partnership accounts.
Supports account operations initiatives for all partners including onboarding and implementation, billing and technical integrations, as well as product/program launches.
Assist as needed with management of strategy, sales and advocacy partner/agency activity with determination to drive performance excellence & cost management.
Ensure sufficient staffing and needed skill sets are in place to over-deliver on partner expectations.
Provide support to the partnership proposal (RFP/bid) process to driving timely and industry leading quality response.
Support delivery of account reporting & dashboards, uncovers new business intelligence, and documentation trends and key data points.
Assists with sales support and B2B marketing initiatives ranging from, but not limited to websites, account micro-sites, digital marketing, email, collateral development, sales tool box outfitting, event & trade show exhibitry, to sponsorship activation.
Coordinate support of sales efforts, enhancing analytical insights regarding prospective accounts, their market, their customer’s behavior, our competitors, and effort effectiveness.
BUDGET & FINANCE*
Assists with organization of the BD/sales and account operations budget. Coordinates with Account Operations team on timetables and communication efforts, assisting department head in keeping all projects on time & on budget.
Participates in the monthly P&L review to ensure BD/sales and Account Operations goals remain on track and, if not, offers remediation recommendations which aim to put the department back on course.
Responsible for delivery and trafficking of account spend accruals.
Identifies opportunities and issues and develops programs to keep track of budget performance.
Strong sales, account / client relationship management and cross functional team management skillset (e.g., analytics, strategy, sales & marketing planning, forecasting, meeting sales goals); Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Self-starter, problem solver, creative, persuasive, and team player; proficient with Microsoft Office software applications.
Excellent knowledge of client management and project management practices, insurance sales, affinity and brand partnerships, marketing and operations procedures and processes.
Prior experience working in the insurance, warranty or service provider industry highly desirable.
A minimum of five to seven years sales or client management experience with an emphasis on warranty programming.
Sales experience with public private exposure and financial exposure to budget / forecast development.
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related discipline required. MBA desired
