We are seeking individuals interested in making an impact in selling the IBM's server portfolio in the BeNeLux market. Objective is to grow the existing revenue stream by both building on existing relationships and to strongly focus on the development of new clients.

This exiting job comes with a lot of variation :

  • As IBM Brand Sales Specialist (BSS) you are responsible for (a) developing IBM specific (open source) server platform solutions that address client's business needs and (b) deliver client value while supporting brand specific business strategies.

  • As a consultative, client-facing, sales professional, you will be guided by IBM's purpose: “To Be Essential” to its clients. You will actively engage clients to develop the trust and credibility to help them grow their businesses by solving strategic and tactical business problems with IBM’s proven technology solutions.

  • As part of a larger team you will also be responsible to help develop the best solution for the client, while applying IBM brand strategies and offerings, methods, and models, to ensure world-class design and delivery of the world's most innovative IT and business solutions.

Key Responsibilities/Skills:

We are looking to recruit a young dynamic professional with skills and affinity for the open source eco-system.

As professional seller you need to be self-motivated, responsible and accountable for the business you drive.

IBM portfolio is your tool kit in which you have the best in class solutions for clients in all industries.

Experience in working with business partners, value add resellers, MSP’s, ISV’s and consulting companies will be much appreciated.

Main goal is drive and grow IBM’s server business by hunting for and engaging with new client.

Strong networking skills is crucial as you are required to work with clients, business partners and influencers in the market. You will need to work on multi level, from technical, to application to business leadership.

On top you need to be a team-player as you need to collaborate with different parts of IBM throughout the lifecycle of a deal. This will include the IBM client teams in the identification and qualification of opportunities, through to leading bid teams made up of legal, technical, commercial and risk personnel as you work through to closure.

For some opportunities where it is a multi-brand deal you will be required to work closely with the sales leaders for those brands, in some cases leading the deal for IBM and in others supporting where we are dependent on another part of IBM for success.

We need eagerness and motivation to win in a highly competitive landscape.

Preferable you have a demonstrable track record of sales activities and results and a successful track record of leading and helping teams in the pursuit of large opportunities.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Outstanding client focus and client relationship management

  • Highly confident and capable of delivering presentations to the client at ANY level, including C-level.Experience working in the open source ecosystem with influencers and business partners, ISV’s and cloud service providers.

  • Ability to understanding complex infrastructures, application architecture, project design and solution implementations.

  • Interested to work with clients on multi cloud solutions.

  • Hunting, Team, Deal and Engagement skills

  • Following knowledge and skills are considered as a plus : the ideal candidate will have at least basic knowledge or working experience on

  • The open source platform (Intel and Enterprise Large Scale implementations)

  • Understanding of the IBM Z & LinuxONE solutions.

  • Large / complex infrastructure projects

  • Data Centric and Cognitive business solutions.

  • Motivated to work with international clients.

  • Sales Experience within an enterprise IT environment that carried an annual quota

  • Excellence in oral and written communications in English and local language

  • Have excellent communication skills , willing to share and to provide clear and constructive feedback

  • Well organized, structured and able to articulate the IT solution and relate it with clients needs.
