The Project Manager (PM) shall be responsible for over sight of all functions and tasking identified in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) to ensure effective, efficient and economical operation of all activities associated with this contract. The PM will ensure all projects are delivered in adherence to project scope, schedules, and budget. The PM shall provide timely financial reports and shall ensure that all schedules and timetables are kept up-to-date. The PM is responsible for exercising leadership, maintaining high morale, and directing the performance of all personnel associated with this contract.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the overall point of technical and managerial contact between the Government Contract Officer’s Representative (COR) and Contractor /sub- Contractor staff throughout the life of the contract.

  • Provide overall technical and managerial support to Contractor/sub-contractor staff.

  • Ensure that Contractor/sub-contractor efforts are focused on meeting site and broader contract requirements, particularly performance measurements, and quality requirements.

  • Monitor all tasks and keep the COR abreast of all problems and accomplishments.

  • Ensure that Contractor /sub-contractor staff is available in the necessary quality and with the appropriate skills to meet contractual requirements.

  • Foster a good work environment and promote quality service.

  • Provide and coordinate quality control reports, problem notification reports and contractor discrepancy reports as required

  • Supervisory duties: all personnel associated with this contract

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

  • Ten (10) years of work –related experience in relevant programs (commercial and/or government) with demonstrated skills in waste management and in a customer focused environment.

  • Five (5) years of experience in the supervision and management of programs of a similar business scope and staffing level to that described in this contract

  • Successfully completed all training and have obtained all required permits, licenses, certifications and security clearances for the site.

  • Public Trust Clearance Required

  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and team building skills to engender rapport with military personnel, civilians, and other contracts at all levels of government.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft applications and programs.

  • Excellent writing and speaking skills are essential

  • The employee will normally work in a temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment.

  • During visits to areas of operations, may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
