Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

Work with Account Teams, functional/matrix managers, and staff to ensure that projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and consistent with defined client expectations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage new client implementations which requires scheduling/leading data intake meetings, scheduling/leading external client meetings, creating project plans, tracking issues, documenting issues and key follow-ups, meeting summaries, facilitating client sign-off for new implementations, identifying key implementation risks, and setting accurate expectations around timing with external and internal resources)

  • Create and maintain detailed work plans, communicate and review work assignments with team, and manage day-to-day project activities.

  • Manage project scope, including project deliverables, timelines, client responsibilities and expectations, to pre-defined project financials.

  • Establish project billing numbers; assist account teams with project related billing.

  • Identify opportunities for value-added revenue during installation projects and with currently installed clients.

  • Coordinate product releases as assigned. Work through ETL conversion job development and Data Management to establish release guidelines and general project plans based on the scope of the release.

  • Provide release information to all functional areas.

  • Manage client expectations, monitor project progress, and communicate outcomes to the appropriate functional areas.

Examples of responsibilities:

  • Schedule and lead project kick-off meeting with clients.

  • Schedule and lead weekly status calls with clients.

  • Coordinate the execution of hold harmless agreements between the client, data suppliers, and IBMWH.

  • Track and communicate project status to account teams and clients.

  • Drive resolution of project issues.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 2+ years of Data Management experience

  • 2+ years Project Management experience

  • 2+ years of customer relationship experience

  • Demonstrated understanding of managing project scope and billing

  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent writing, verbal, and leadership skills

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • 2+ years of customer relationship experience working with employer groups

  • Candidates local to Ann Arbor, MI or willing to relocate highly preferred
