Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.

We are looking for Senior Windows Systems Engineers with experience in implementing and administering Windows in a virtualized environment to support our growing Infrastructure Services.
Under the direction of the Director of Cloud Infrastructure Services, the successful candidates:
Manage production and pre-production technology systems in a hybrid cloud/datacenter environment
Automate building systems and deploying applications.
Create additional automation by scripting repetitive tasks
Manage and support Windows guest image build pipeline for Oracle Public Cloud
Participate in strategic projects
Monitor productions systems, respond to and troubleshoot incidents
Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation
Ability to code in Object Oriented Programming Language
Master's degree or Relevant hands-on experience
Ability to collaborate with resources across multiple disciplines
Ability to design and document complex workflows
Strong knowledge of Windows kernels and Windows system internals.
Experience scripting in Shell, Python, Java or other languages
Strong proficiency in cloud management technologies
Well-rounded knowledge of networking (LAN, WAN, VLAN, Routing, Firewalls, etc.)
Well-rounded knowledge of storage solutions
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, flexibility in concepts and action, able to handle aggressive mission critical deadlines
Looks for any areas of improvement and suggests changes, rather than waiting for direction
Excellent team player - proven ability to resolve problems professionally and systematically

Experienced systems engineer who has 10 years of system development or administration experience with Windows Server 2008, 2012, and 2016 operating systems.
Experience with Microsoft Azure, Aws or OpenStack
Experience in server and desktop virtualization platforms such as VMWare, Hyper-V, Citrix XenApp Server and XenDesktop preferred.
Experience with automated monitoring systems and technologies
Experience working with Cloud guest image build and certification process
