Oracle Business Analyst 2-Ops in Arcadia, California

Provides programs to improve operational efficiency, consistency, and compliance in support of the organization*s financial and tactical business objectives. Provides business practices and processes. Develops, communicates, and trains the organization on business practices and processes.

Serve as a liaison with other divisions such as Finance, Contracts, HR, Legal, Shared Services, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, and Risk Management in an effort to ensure accurate and timely transaction processing. Collect, input, verify, correct, and analyze data to measure key performance indicator actual versus business objectives. Provide updates to management regarding budget to actual, informing them of deviations and opportunities. Provide management with economic impact and compliance issues surrounding key business decisions and/or deals. Communicate Oracle Business Practices to the organization and monitor process and approvals for full compliance. Drive implementation of new processes and procedures.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. Attention to detail critical. Ability to collect, organize, and display data in spreadsheet format. Follow-through skills necessary to get information from internal and third parties and have data errors/omissions corrected. Relationship management skills strongly desired. Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with management and possible clients desired. 2 plus years relevant work experience.

Operations BusinessAnalyst (46020.Business Analyst 2-Ops)

The Operations Business Analyst will be part of the Product Operations Group within the Communications Global Business Unit (CGBU). The analyst will specifically report to the financial team managed by Kim Wilson-Rivers.

As such, the person will:

Provideinformation to management by assembling and summarizing data; preparingreports; making presentations of findings, analyzes, and recommendations.

Reviewquarterly expenses to ensure that expenses are booked correctly and work withthe finance team to make any necessary reclassification

Assistin consolidating financials, headcount reporting, annual and quarterly reporting/forecasting

Increaseproductivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools

Buildfinancial models and performing a valuation analysis

Largescale data mining and business intelligence management

Workon ad-hoc projects/analyzes as needed



Skills & Qualifications:

Must havestrong analytical (quantitative as well as qualitative) skills includingbuilding models, prior data mining experience a plus

Attention todetail is critical.

Self-starterwith the ability to streamline functions and passion to learn and grow

Strongfinancial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models

Ability tocollect, organize, and display data in spreadsheet format. Moderate to advancedproficiency with Microsoft Excel is required (Vlookups, formulas, pivot tablesetc.)

Familiaritywith data query/data management tools extremely helpful (Access, SQL, OracleBusiness Intelligence)

Must possessexcellent communication and presentation skills, and be comfortable interactingwith management

Follow-throughskills necessary to get information from internal and third parties and havedata errors/omissions corrected.

Ability tobuild and maintain relationships with counterparts in other functionalorganizations (Finance, Development, Legal, and Purchasing)
