Position Summary:

Uses Analytics to evaluate scenarios and make predictions on future outcomes in order to solve highly complex business problems and support decision making. Analyzes very large data sets in real time databases and develops and implements mathematical approaches

Job Responsibilities:

  • Consults with internal clients to identify opportunities to implement Analytic solutions to business problems

  • Understands and recommends analytic approaches to Care Management Operational challenges

  • Demonstrates familiarity with most areas of mathematical analysis methods, statistical analyses, and predictive and descriptive modeling and in-depth specialization in some areas

  • Demonstrates familiarity with data engineering concepts

  • Works with manager and members of multiple teams

  • Presents recommendations to manager of team

  • Collaborates with one or more business partners to understand their problems and goals, develop operational analysis, statistical analysis, data reports and performance metrics

  • Consults on the creation of analytics solutions that effectively weigh business and technical tradeoffs using understanding of business strategy as well as relevant big data environment topics

  • Acts as an analytics product owner translating business needs into analytics projects and actions

  • Leads development of analytic solutions with medium complexity and risk

Background/ Experience Desired:

  • Minimum 5 years total business experience

  • Minimum 3 year experience programming using SAS and SQL

  • Healthcare sector experience required

  • 1 year experience in operational analysis of Care Management Platform with track record of business impact strongly preferred

  • Strong knowledge of advanced analytics tools and languages to analyze large data sets from multiple data sources

  • Demonstrates strong ability to communicate technical concepts and implications to business partners

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor degree in a quantitative field, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience

  • Master's degree in a quantitative field strongly preferred

Telework Specifications:

This is a full-time telework (WAH) position for a virtual team. Candidate to be located in Eastern or Central Time Zones Only
