CACI International Acquisition Logistics Analyst in Arlington, Virginia

Job Description

CACI International Inc. has an available Acquisition Analyst role in support of our PEO IWS program out of our Arlington, VA location.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Work on-site with the team and is an integral part of the team working issues independently providing insight and recommendations to the Navy Leadership

  • Provide direct on-site program management and logistic support to the MK34 GWS on new construction DDGs and DDGs undergoing modernization. Provides direct support to the Major Caliber New Construction/AMOD Project Manager in managing all aspects of the program

More About the Role:

  • Provide direct on-site support to PEO IWS 3C with emphasis on the MK 34 Gun Weapon System (GWS) and Gun Fire Control Systems (GFCS) on new construction Destroyers and Destroyers undergoing modernization (AMOD)

  • Provide Pre and Post Delivery Support and Fleet Support

  • Assist in internal and external logistics coordination of projects

  • Plan and execute ILS activities and projects. Provide ILS expertise to develop innovative process improvements and solutions

  • Participate in and contribute to all aspects of the following logistics elements: ILS Planning, Maintenance Planning, Supply Support, Technical Data, Manpower, Personnel and Training, Design Interface, Reliability, Maintainability and Availability (RM&A), Configuration Management, Facilities Planning, Installation and Post-Delivery Support, Computer Resources, Packaging

  • Handling, Storage and Transportation, Support and Test Equipment, Safety/Hazardous Materials/Environmental concerns, and equipment disposal

  • Participate in the preparation, execution, and/or review of Integrated Logistics Assessments, Logistics Supportability Analyses, and RM&A Analyses

  • Support the development, update and maintenance of ILS portions of Statements of Work (SOW), Specifications and Contract Data Requirement Lists (CDRLs) and related Data Items Descriptions (DIDs)

  • Assist in preparing point papers, briefs, reclamas, and other program documentation to articulate and support requirements. Assist in the planning and implementation of supportability strategies for fielded product lines

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant academic area such as business administration, logistics, engineering management, or similar degree field and seven to nine years of related experience, or 5-8 years of related experience

  • Experience with Contracts/TIs and PRs

  • Experience working with Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and/or Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS)

  • Experience in preparing for and conduct of Training and Integrated Logistics Assessments (ILA) and Logistics Supportability Assessments (LSA)

  • Must have a Active DoD Secret+ clearance

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Experience providing direct logistics support to US Navy combat and weapons systems programs.

  • Experience working in or with other external DoD organizations including NIPO, OSD, MDA, and Navy Field activities.

  • Experience with the MK 45 Mod 4 Gun Systems.

  • Knowledge of DoD and NAVSEA 5000 series Program Acquisition Instructions.

  • Working knowledge of Navy Modernization Program (NMP)
