Chenega Professional & Technical Services (CPTS) is seeking a Business Analyst to support the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The Business Analyst will gather data, analyze it, and compile it for integration purposes between the organization, business units, applications, processes, and the Identity & Access Management (IdAM) program capabilities and services.

The Business Analyst will take charge of project IdAM workstreams and deliver results that will enable business applications to use IdAM services. Our ideal candidate has the ability to work on multiple project workstreams simultaneously and translate business data into digestible information that Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and IdAM solutions can consume. The Business Analyst gathers and documents business requirements, and supports integration activities, acceptance testing, and development of training and implementation material. This position will support and take direction from the IdAM program Technical Director.

  • Support PKI and identity management projects by collecting and reviewing business process data and performing in-depth analysis to translate into detailed business and functional requirements.

  • Facilitate reviews with the technical and business teams to obtain sign-off on all requirements from the project sponsors and technical leads.

  • Work with integration teams to validate system requirements against business requirements.

  • Facilitate the UAT process by creating test cases with traceability, conducting the testing, and working with the business unit stakeholders to receive acceptance approval.

  • Maintain a detailed understanding of business applications processes and customer needs.

  • Build and maintain relationships with key business/IT stakeholders, team members and vendors involved in the IdAM projects.

  • Work with the appropriate operations support team members to troubleshoot issues and/or operational questions.

  • Perform post production review of deployed capabilities to ensure successful implementation and work with production support team members to research any issues.

Minimum Qualifications:(To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in technology and business analysis (experience in PKI, Digital Signature, and/or Identity & Access Management (IAM) projects will be a plus.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Technology areas.

  • Excellent facilitation, collaboration, communication and presentation skills.

  • Strong analytical skills.

  • Proficient in best practices and standard business analysis, business process definition and project management concepts.

  • Skilled in organizing resources and establishing priorities.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficient with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).

  • Some experience with Microsoft Access and/or SQL Server is a plus.

  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to be proactive.

  • Familiarity or experience with PKI, Digital Signature, and/or Identity & Access Management (IAM) projects is a plus.

  • Familiarity with Google Docs and Google Cloud Services is a plus.
