What You’ll Get to Do:
You’ll be responsible for facilitating the process to collect and define client requirements. Provide advice and recommendations on process best practices. Perform analysis on business or systems processes to identify improvements. Work with clients to understand and define needs and develop and recommend solutions. Interact and communicate with end-users, management, vendors, and IT personnel. Produce functional design specifications based on user requirements. Maintain a deep knowledge of Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) applications (e.g., SAP, Oracle, and Momentum). Perform configuration and designs functional solutions (e.g., reports, interfaces, workflows, and extensions) for specific application and third-party systems. Develop creative technical solutions to problems.
More About the Role:
The duties of the analyst will include: investigating and resolving systems issues in a production environment, developing solutions to the client’s system needs, participating as an analyst in system upgrades, testing software changes, and performing other functions, as needed. The analyst may also participate in developing user training materials, presenting training, updating the users’ guides, SharePoint design and development and other business operations activities.
The successful candidate must be comfortable with technology, possess good analytical skills and superior customer service skills. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to work with contracting and/or financial management staff to resolve issues, recommend solutions, and document system requirements. The candidate must be a team player, be willing to do what is needed to get the job done and have the capacity to learn and support a wide range of system functionality. The candidate must also be articulate, be passionate about helping users, and be an enthusiastic self-starter.
You’ll Bring these Qualifications:
Experience working with a variety of technologies including: Relational Databases, SQL, Microsoft Office suite.
Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
Experience in planning project tasks and time management
Ability to work independently
Ability to develop system documentation and user guides
Team player, well organized, self-motivated, hungry and quick learner
Excellent analytical skills
Ability to translate business processes to technical requirements
Experience working collaboratively with stakeholders across multiple organizations in:
Resolving issues and developing recommendations
Developing system requirements and application tools
Database technologies and Queries
Working in a team environment
