Deloitte CFIUS Analyst with TS SCI in Arlington, Virginia

Deloitte Government and PublicServices (GPS) Advisory LLP advises clients on managing businesscontroversy and conflict, executing deals, and maintaining regulatorycompliance. We provide services to companies throughout their lifecycle frompurchasing a company to investigating potential fraud.

Our GPSAdvisory Forensic practice providesinvestigative expertise to analyze events, people, entities, and financial datain order to extract relevant insights for our Federal clients mission-criticalneeds.

Weare currently seeking highlytrained Investigators and Intelligence Specialists to support andassist our Federal clients with various professional services to includecommercially enabled intelligence, forensic accounting, analytics, anddiscovery services to help address complex investigative programs.

Responsibilities :

  • Research, document, and analyzedata related to foreign acquisitions of U.S. businesses filed by parties toinitiate CFIUS reviews.

  • Process filings and relatedadministrative steps, such as distribution of materials to other CFIUS members,preparation of letters to parties regarding status of the filing, preparationof case summaries, and management of paper flow related to the case.

  • Review filings to assesssatisfaction of regulatory information requirements, and identification ofareas where additional information is necessary for a filing to be accepted.

  • Review and analyze a wide rangeof financial, business, and intelligence data, and assisting with thedevelopment of analysis to support the processing of CFIUS cases and theproduction of administrative records documenting the factual and legal basisfor such action.

  • Develop strategies to mitigatenational security risks posed by transactions and drafting mitigation terms.

  • Prepare analysis andrecommendations with respect to the proper disposition of cases.

RequiredSkills :

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • Active TS/SCI security clearancerequired for this role.

  • Experienceperforming due diligence investigations.

  • Experiencewith data gathering and analysis, as well as business analysis.

  • Demonstratedability to perform technical writing.

  • Familiaritywith intel-derived best practices to address complex problems within bothintelligence and law enforcement communities.

  • Problem solving andtroubleshooting skills with experience exercising mature judgment.

  • Exceptional verbal communicationand presentation skills.

  • Proven experience effectivelyprioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives.

DesiredSkills :

  • Possess a working knowledge of,and experience in, national security, foreign investments, critical technologysectors, and the international business environment.
