Deloitte Data Analytics Senior Consultant with Active Public Trust in Arlington, Virginia

Work you ll do

Exciting opportunity to join one of our Analytics and Cognitive teams in support of a Federal Health client. In this role, you will act in the capacity of deputy Program Operations PM.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Overseeing and managing multiple multi-million dollar IT design and implementation programs.

  • Establishing the practices, processes, and templates required to run programs Facilitating program-wide meetings

  • Monitoring risks and issues across program, monitor funding status across program

  • Working with a variety of stakeholders both internally and external to the Program Operations branch

Travel up to 5% (While 5%of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travelhas been suspended until further notice.)

The Analytics & Cognitive team leverages the power of data, analytics, robotics, science and cognitive technologies to uncover hidden relationships from vast troves of data, generate insights, and inform decision-making. Together with the Strategy practice, our Strategy & Analytics portfolio helps clients transform their business by architecting organizational intelligence programs and differentiated strategies to win in their chosen markets.

Analytics & Cognitive will work with our clients to:

Implement large-scale data ecosystems including data management, governance and the integration of structured and unstructured data to generate insights leveraging cloud-based platforms

Leverage automation, cognitive and science-based techniques to manage data, predict scenarios and prescribe actions

Drive operational efficiency by maintaining their data ecosystems, sourcing analytics expertise and providing As-a-Service offerings for continuous insights and improvements



  • 4 year degree from an accredited college or university

  • 8 years of relevant consulting or industry experience

  • PMP certification

  • Experience within Health IT environments and/or DoD environments

  • Demonstrated experience in development, design, deployment and sustainment of IT infrastructure projects

  • Proven experience with cost estimating, developing project controls, and developing budgets/budget management

  • Prior experience standing up, managing and overseeing IT operations within a PMO

  • Obtain and maintain Public Trust US Security Clearance

  • Proven leadership skills demonstrating strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities

  • Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation creation tools, as well as Internet research tools

  • Exceptional attention to detail and proven ability to identify process improvement opportunities
