The Public Service Sector consulting practice is a trusted advisor to federal, state and local governments, partnering to meet challenges and responding quickly to citizen demands, business needs, new economic conditions, and changing legislative priorities and policies.
IBM is looking for a Deputy Program Manager for large software development project. You'll be responsible for the management of the overall project. You'll serve as the primary interface and point of contact with government authorities on technical issues. You'll be responsible for business and financial, programmatic, and administrative aspects of project performance. You'll also prepare and present status on program schedule, costs, deliverables, risks and risk containment strategies. You'll be actively engaged in all of the following:

Required Professional and Technical Expertise
Bachelors in relevant field.
Active DoD Secret clearance.
10+ years of progressive information systems software and software management experience.
5+ years technical experience managing large software development projects.
Agile Development experience.
Experience working at US Department of State, ideally at the Bureau of Diplomatic Security.
Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise
Scrum Master certification.
Experience managing cloud-based software development projects (Azure preferred).
Experience with MS Dynamics.
