The position is for an energy sector consulting professional to provide advisory services to Federal clients active in the energy sector. Project management and business development activities are also an integral part of the job. Work you ll do As a Manager within our Supply Chain Team, you will: Consult to Federal clients on energy sector matters in such areas as energy sector policy, regulatory and institutional reform; utility performance improvement including integration of smart grids and other technologies, energy efficiency, clean and renewable energy, financing of renewable and conventional energy projects, energy access, and other topics applicable to US and international countries, including developing countries.Organize and deliver services on a cross-section of complex projectsActively participate in the development of business and vendor relationshipsParticipate and lead aspects of the proposal development processManage day-to-day interactions with clients and internal Deloitte teamDisplay leadership and business judgment in anticipating client/project needs and developing alternative solutionsProvide counseling/coaching, oversight, and support for delivery teams and staffFocus on managed revenue targets as well as achieving quarterly or yearly sales objectives for new businessLead business development initiatives to grow the Supply Chain team and the Federal practiceManage resources and budget on client projects The Team Transparency, innovation, collaboration, sustainability: these are the hallmark issues shaping Federal government initiatives today.
