Accenture Federal - Proposal Volume Lead in Arlington, Virginia

You Are:

The one who finds a typo in an article or notices when someone misuses words. You like to investigate, explore, and figure out what a product, device or gadget does. By breaking down complex information and making it simple you have the skills to break down a process and give direction.

The Work:

  • Proposal Volume Lead support day-to-day proposal management activities for the respective volume(s) in coordination with the Proposal Manager

  • Assist and train authors in developing proposal content and graphics

  • Conduct internal reviews and perform quality assurance checks

  • Determine production schedule, prepare production-ready files and arrange and oversee proposal

  • Conduct frequent story conferences with authors and SMEs on the proposal content

  • Review and edit volume sections for compliance in accordance with RFP criteria

  • Lead integration of content from proposal resources and maintain a central document repository

Here's what you need:

  • At least 3 years' of experience in federal government proposal development and management

  • 5 years experience leading volumes or writing for multi-million dollar opportunities

  • Solid knowledge of developing proposals in response to Federal Request for Proposals (RFP's)

  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Share Point, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat

Bonus points if:

  • You have superior oral and written communication skills

  • You’ve got solid organization skills, and you’re detail oriented

  • You have an APMP Certification

  • You’ve got a strong record of supporting winning proposals

  • You’ve got a technical background 

  • Bachelor's degree

Important information

This role requires US citizenship with no dual US citizenship accepted.

An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
