The Public Service Sector consulting practice is a trusted advisor to federal, state and local governments, partnering to meet challenges and responding quickly to citizen demands, business needs, new economic conditions, and changing legislative priorities and policies.

The Global Standards Engagement Analysis will support the Global Supply Chain (GSC) and Global Standards teams in driving supplier compliance to global standards requirements. This will include continuous engagement with suppliers to accelerate implementation and drive alignment to deadlines, implementing supplier evaluation criteria, and monitoring supplier requirements. You will routinely and dedicatedly engage suppliers to encourage GS1 registration, assignment of GTINs, and submission of relevant data for use in the GSC organization (e.g. product catalog). You will also support ongoing dialogue with the broader GHSC-PSM project to drive alignment on supplier requirements, share market intelligence, and provide light technical support to support those implementations as needed.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • At least 2 years of experience in supply chain management.

  • Experience working within the pharmaceutical/medical equipment and procurement sector.

  • Experience with global standards for asset traceability.

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • Advanced degree in Operation/Supply Chain related concentration.

  • Experience implementing the GS1 system of standards.

  • Experience living and/or working in developing countries.

  • Multi-lingual in French, Spanish, or Portuguese.
