JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The candidate will work at the customer’s site alongside other Project Schedulers as a member of CACI’s Program Management Office. Working under the direction of the Master Scheduler, the scheduling team is responsible for developing and maintaining an Earned Value Management (EVM) baseline that interfaces with an MS Project resource-loaded schedule.
Assist with the development and maintenance of the program's cost and schedule baseline
Assist the Master Scheduler in developing an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) by working with technical team leads to determine their critical tasks, identify contractual milestones, and associate interdependencies across the program
Develop scheduling status reports, which are reviewed at Program Management meetings
Develop and maintain schedule artifacts and other program documentation
Assist with determining the critical path of the program based on schedule progress and established task dependencies
Transfer data from Microsoft Project to the team’s Earned Value system and ensure accuracy of data
Support the team’s continuous Schedule Change Control improvements efforts
Actively participate in Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs)
Interact daily with technical leads, CACI leadership, and client personnel by providing schedule status data
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Secret Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
Familiarity with project control and support activities
Familiarity with determining the Critical Path and performing Schedule status updates
Proficiency in other office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, MS Visio and SharePoint)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., economics, engineering, mathematics, operations research, statistics or business) or a discipline that fosters problem solving, structured thought and creativity
On-the-job and formal training will be provided to motivated candidates who have the desire to expand their skills and apply their knowledge to improve the team’s overall performance
DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Familiarity with DoD Contracting environment
IMS creation and scheduling experience
Experience running DCMA 14-point schedule assessments
Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies
Experience on large-scale software development projects
Experience with Earned Value Management
Experience working with Microsoft Project
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Typically has a University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of work experience.
Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on a computer for extended periods and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face.
