Lead Software Engineer

Are you an experienced, passionate pioneer in technology asolutions builder, a roll-up-your-sleeves technologist who wants a dailycollaborative environment, think-tank feel and share new ideas with yourcolleagues - without the extensive demands of travel?

Work you ll do

The Lead Software Engineer will support a unique cloud-scalemodeling and simulation platform that is a recent patent recipient. The candidate will join a team ofhigh-performing physicists, engineers, and data scientists to continue thedevelopment of an industry first capability for performing what-if simulationsat massive scale.

The Simulation Engineer will also lead the development of majorfeatures and implementations, including helping to design the architecture forthose features. They will be coding, testing, documenting, and helping toensure successful deployment of that code. Reviewing pull requests from otherengineers will be commonplace, as will pair programming and other lightmentorship duties. Our product and technical leaders collaborate frequentlywith engineers and will expect them to provide insightful feedback on theprocess, architecture, implementation, and quality of the product. Finally,troubleshooting issues in a timely manner is critical to ensuring the stabilityof the platform and our client implementations.

Together with the Strategy practice, our Strategy &Analytics portfolio helps clients transform their business by architectingorganizational intelligence programs and differentiated strategies to win intheir chosen markets.

Analytics & Cognitive will work with our clients to:

-{PS..0}->Implement large-scale data ecosystemsincluding data management, governance and the integration of structured andunstructured data to generate insights leveraging cloud-based platforms

-{PS..1}->Leverage automation, cognitive andscience-based techniques to manage data, predict scenarios and prescribeactions

-{PS..2}->Drive operational efficiency by maintainingtheir data ecosystems, sourcing analytics expertise and providing As-a-Serviceofferings for continuous insights and improvements


Required Skills:

-{PS..3}->Bachelors Degree in Computer Science,Mathematics, Engineering or business-related field

-{PS..4}->4 years of professional application development experience

-{PS..5}->4 years of experience with Object Oriented Programming, preferablyJava

-{PS..6}->4 years of development experience within cloud environment(AWS GCP, Azure)

-{PS..7}->4 years of experience with agile software development

-{PS..8}->Ability to obtain and maintain agovernment security clearance

Desired Skills:

-{PS..9}->Prior professional services or federal consultingexperience

-{PS..10}->2 years DevOps experience

-{PS..11}->Strong written and verbal communicationskills
