Marketing & Communications, Communications Operations Senior or Lead Specialist

Work you ll do

As a Senior or Lead Specialist focused on Comms Operations, you will support the execution and delivery of marketing and communications content and through internal channels as part of a central operations team. Working collaboratively across our internal Marketing and Communications Agency, your work will help differentiate the Deloitte brand, drive Deloitte s business priorities forward, innovate new marketing and communications solutions, and connect and engage our professionals.

In this role, you will play a part in driving Deloitte s marketing and communications activities by supporting communications efforts and technologies across all our Deloitte businesses to help drive employee awareness and engagement.

Intranet maintenance and support:

Provide technical and content support to drive delivery of internal communications through Deloitte s SharePoint based internal intranet infrastructure through a wide range of activities that include; oversight of key intranet sites, content development, management of existing content, development of site/page designs, and access permissions.

Email production and delivery:

Support the development and delivery of internal emails, including newsletters, through a wide range of activities that include; coordination and execution of large scale internal email distributions, management of distribution list infrastructure, as well as management of team and leadership shared mailboxes.

Event production and delivery:

Provide logistics and administrative support for high priority live events, town halls, and/or webcasts.


Produce standard operational and communications channel reporting to inform leadership and other internal stakeholders and demonstrate the value of internal communications.

Other employee engagement activities: Provide support in the coordination and execution of other employee engagement activities, including, but not limited to: physical print media and internal digital surveys



  • Microsoft Office: to include Word, Power Point and Excel

  • Experience using Microsoft SharePoint to manage online content preferred

  • Experience using Adobe Omniture reporting suits

  • Experience editing and/or producing content for a professional website preferred

  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills

  • May require HTML skills

  • Relevant internship or professional experience in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related (professional services/B2B preferred)

  • Demonstrated leadership, maturity and accountability displayed through extra-curricular and community activities

  • Experience in successfully administering confidential and secure information in a corporate environment

  • Bachelor s degree in Marketing, Communications, Technology, or related field

  • 3 year of experience
