PRODUCT MARKETING MANAGER – STRATEGIC MESSAGING AND PROPOSALS – UTILITY GRID AND ASSET MANAGEMENT SOLUTIONS

We are looking for astrong Product Marketing Manager who has experience in Grid and AssetManagement Platforms in the Utilities Industry.

We

are seeking a Strategic Content Marketer to join our proposals content team and

drive forward compelling content in support of sales activities for our Grid

and Asset Management Platforms. This person will write and maintain

long-form proposal content that furthers sales pursuits. The strategic content

marketer advocates for clear, concise, and compelling storytelling that focuses

on client business drivers, solution value, and Oracle differentiators.

Top candidates will have experience creating marketing or

sales content for utility systems, preferably related to grid or asset

management systems. If you could spend hours talking about grid optimization,

distributed energy, or asset management in an IoT world, we’d love to hear from

Responsibilities

Solution

Messaging/Positioning:

  • Develop and implement high impact and differentiated solutionpositioning and messaging for proposals activities

  • Builda library of Win Themes and other messaging to support proposals and pursuitsin other sales stages

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on solutions in support of dealpursuits and proposal content creation

Proposals

Content:

  • Develop and deliver high-impact repeatable sales tools related tosales pursuits

  • Workwith subject matter experts to write new standard, re-usable proposal content

  • Identifygaps in standard proposal content and work with management to prioritize newprojects

  • Audit,organize, and update existing standard proposal content

  • Keeprelevant materials current and accessible to all stakeholders

  • Assistwith writing and editing key sections of high-value business proposals

Sales

Training:

  • Deliver key sales training materials and guidance toempower sales teams to build the strongest narrative throughout theirpresentations and proposals to prospects.

  • Steerbid teams to applicable materials

Demonstrated

ability to:

  • Contributeto complex B2B proposals, preferably in the energy/utility industry or for alarge consultancy

  • Synthesizecomplex information to write convincing narratives for a business audience

  • Editcontent from multiple sources for consistent tone, style, and purpose

  • Collaboratewith subject matter experts across the company on writing projects

  • Planand project manage content deliverables under tight deadlines

  • Deliverclient-ready materials in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • You have 3 years of relevant experience, and abachelor's degree

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Development and implementation of business plans, marketing strategy, and forecasts for a product/service or vertical market.

As a product analyst you will participate in every stage of the product life cycle to ensure product meets the needs of users. Drive the implementation of programs in support of the marketing strategy, business plans, and forecasts for assigned product lines. Maintains current status of customer specifications for existing and future products. Identify, evaluate, and recommend marketing opportunities in support of product line objectives. Drive product functionality delivering high quality product documentation. Lead products through scheduled release assisting others to manage commitments and resources. Measure and report progress and review deliverables.

Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. Demonstrated product/project management experience. Excellent written and verbal communication. Demonstrated product/project management experience. Thrives in fast paced environment Team player. Experience using or implementing Oracle, SAP, or Peoplesoft applications. 5 years related experience and BA/BS degree in marketing or technical major preferred.
