The Technical Support Delivery team is looking for an experienced Front-end web developer to join our high-performing application development team. Our portfolio of applications spans electronic support, call/problem management, and entitlement systems. We operate and transform the capabilities for IBM worldwide technical support which is key to IBM’s growth. The Front-end web developer will be a key contributor on a dynamic squad within IBM Support that develops for external and internal clients on the IBM Salesforce system with the goal of ensuring our client’s success.
• Develop the front-end web application used by IBM clients for product and solution support
• Act as a consultant/mentor to other development squad members helping with complex coding and recommending efficient ways to execute function within the Salesforce Community Framework
• Understand and work in an agile development environment with the ability to work on numerous stories and issues simultaneously.
• Problem solver and focal point during severity 1 and critical situations
• Teamwork with peers, other managers, and teams across IBM
• Interface with development teams while working in IBM Armonk

Must have the ability to work in the US without current/future need for IBM sponsorship
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Deep technical knowledge of front-end technologies to design and develop an enterprise wide web based solution
3+ years’ experience developing client facing solutions web solutions
Exposure to Agile, DevOps, and Automated Testing
Demonstrated communication skills
Ability to code web application for responsive design using the latest techniques and the CSS framework
Experience working with version control software and code promotion
Live near or willing to move to Armonk, NY to work collaboratively in the office
Preferred Tech and Prof Experience
Experience with but not limited to Apex classes, Visualforce Page, and Lightning Components
Experience in Service Cloud Implementation with good understanding on Salesforce Knowledge and Case Management process.
Ability to write Apex classes that work with Force.com API’s
Experience integrating Apex classes with external and SOAP and REST web services
Ability to develop custom Lightning Components that interact with standard and custom Salesforce objects and pages
Experience using standard Salesforce Communities templates and themes, Napili preferred
