IBM Global Squad Leader- GSI Finance in ARMONK, New York
Manage the annual WW commission budget cycle and deploy affordable commission plan at BU And Geo level
Coordinate with GSI design to estimate cost of significant plan design changes.
Manage Quarterly forecasting of IBM commission expense and provide insights to BU finance on commission outlook for the quarter
Manage the quarterly booking of the commission expense and deferrals to ledger. Review geography commission calculations for reasonableness. Provide daily status, analysis and reporting on commission performance to senior management BU finance and CHQ finance.
Provide methodology guidance on commission expense accruals for new plan designs
Coordinate all internal and external audit requests and provide guidance on controls procedures over commission processes.
Provide analysis, reporting and insights on incentives trends to senior management and CHQ finance.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
It is required from the applicant to have knowledge of sales plan design, measurement, territory setup, coverage model, quota definition, achievement allocation.
As part of the development process the candidate must communicate and collaborate with the customer (and other stakeholders) to improve productivity and increase accuracy of commissions’ provisions. The candidate needs to deliver education to geography teams and act as business advisor. The candidate must complete complex analysis and must possess incentives knowledge to be able to communicate internally and to outside organizations, ie. Finance and Business Units with confidence.
