Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM Global Business Services (GBS), Talent & Engagement is hiring a HR Transformation Consultant to join the consulting practice. As a Strategy Consultant, individuals will be part of a multi-disciplinary team working with senior leaders to define how emerging technologies can enable disruptive strategies and create business value. They will be expected to help our clients rethink their business/mission - guide them through the ideation process, reimagine their role in the industry as well as show them how to leverage a digital approach to optimize and expand their core mission.
While business acumen and a commercial mindset are a given, you should have considerable experience of planning, designing and delivering complex, large-scale HR transformation programs. We’re looking for experience across the whole transformation life-cycle, from sales to delivery. Your experience should include a practical awareness of HR systems coupled with a detailed understanding of best practice HR operating models and processes. Most importantly, you should have a genuine passion for the Human Resources function with the ability to inspire others.
The following skills will be important:
A proven ability to support engagements delivering HR Strategy and Transformation for large scale firms or multinationals, or supporting the delivery of specialist HR projects
A drive to put the client first in everything you do, listening effectively, communicating respectfully, writing clearly, and translating complex ideas into workable solutions
A track record of creating enduring client relationships based on trust, successful business development and credible program execution

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Proven record of HR Transformation implementation experience in complex organizations
HR Service (outsourced or in-house) design and implementation experience
Creditability to contribute to the growth of the HR practice, by networking internally, and supporting new business proposals and presentations
A deep understanding of key HR processes and policies
Technology driven change management or ERP related transformation
A talent for client-facing work or excellent consulting skills
