Job Description

Manager, Partner Marketing Data Analytics

This individual will lead advanced data analysis of pipeline and revenue contribution from multiple demand generation programs, and produce corresponding dashboards and reports. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert at identifying top business insights and trends, addressing errors, explaining anomalies, and building data-driven investment cases in support of the Global Business Partner Marketing team. This is a management position.


Drive business process and data improvements in IBM’s reporting systems to highlight marketing impact on Business Partner pipeline and win results

Develop a deep business and technical understanding of existing systems and repositories

Collaborate across the team and beyond to ensure 100% alignment with business leaders

Manage, develop and grow skills across the team of marketing insights / analysis professionals

Ensure data quality and report accuracy

Draw insights that surface innovative solutions to complex business problems

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 5+ years IT channel experience

  • 5+ years IT analytics experience

  • BA/BS in data science or related field required; advanced degree preferred

  • Familiarity with analytics tools

  • The ability and strong desire to think analytically with strong problem solving, technical analytic and communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks to completion within established deadlines

  • Ability to take on new challenges, self starter

  • Equally effective working independently or collaboratively

  • Excellent communication skills, including with senior executives

  • 10% travel
