Job Description

Managing Consultant, IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US: Architect, design, and develop customer solutions. Support clients in software architectural design. Perform software architecture and software design. Follow recommended Social Program Management (SPM) compliant customization techniques. Develop software lifecycle processes. Integrate enterprise architecture, data architecture, and design. Deploy architecture specification and system software design and configuration. Demonstrate SPM features and architect business processes to clients and system integrators. Perform fit gap analysis and refine requirements based on SPM features. Handle functional and design issues related to client needs. Utilize Java, J2EE, Extensible Markup Language (XML), Unified Modeling Language (UML), Oracle, and DB2. Required: Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related (employer will accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master's degree) and one (1) year of experience as a Managing Consultant, Software Engineer, or related. One (1) year of experience must include utilizing Java, J2EE, XML, UML, Oracle, and DB2. Full time. B130.
