IBM SAP S4 HANA Complex Program Manager -Communications Sector in Armonk, New York

Your Role and Responsibilities

The SAP S4 HANA Complex Program Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of IBM's largest and most complex SAP client programs. Individuals within this specialty and skill set manage S/4 HANA client engagements, ensuring delivery of solutions for complex IT, business and client requirements. This role focuses specifically on the Communications Sector (Media & Entertainment, Telecommunications, Energy, Environment & Utilities)

As the S4 HANA Complex Program Manager, you will lead a project team in delivering a solution to the client using the appropriate methodology and approach, to deliver the solution scope as defined in the project charter, project agreement or contract. You will have overall performance responsibility for managing scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables, which includes applying techniques for planning, tracking, change control, and risk management.

You will manage all project resources, including subcontractors, and establish an effective communication plan with the project team and client executives. You will provide day to day direction to the project team and regular project status updates to the client and to IBM, focused on on-time and on-value measurements.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • At least 10 years of end to end SAP IT Implementation Lifecycle experience; with at least 50%+ in Commercial Industries

  • At least 10 years of SAP IT Project Management experience; with at least 50%+ in the Commercial Sector (Media & Entertainment, Telecommunications, Energy, Environment & Utilities)

  • At least 3 years of SAP S/4 HANA Project Management experience; with at least 50%+ in Distribution Industries

  • At least 10 years of experience guiding and facilitating executive level business decisions and performing business analysis in cooperation with SAP clients; 50%+ in Distribution Industries

  • At least 3 years of delivering on Sales targets to grow SAP program growth; 50%+ in Distribution Industries

  • At least 3 years of delivering on Financial Program management targets to deliver internal results on SAP program delivery; 50%+ in Distribution Industries

  • Requires experience with Agile Methodologies and Tools

  • Travel up to 75% - Monday thru Friday depending on project requirements

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • At least 15 years of end to end SAP IT Implementation Lifecycle experience; with at least 50%+ with Commercial Industries.

  • At least 10 years of SAP IT Project Management experience; with at least 50%+ with the Commercial Sector (Media & Entertainment, Telecommunications, Energy, Environment & Utilities)

  • At least 3 years of SAP S/4 HANA Project Management experience; with at least 50%+ in Distribution Industries

  • At least 10 years of experience guiding and facilitating executive level business decisions and performing business analysis in cooperation with SAP clients; 50%+ in Distribution Industries

  • At least 3 years of delivering on Sales targets to grow SAP program growth; 50%+ in Distribution Industries
