IBM Senior Managing Consultant in ARMONK, New York
Senior Managing Consultant, IBM Corporation, Armonk, New York and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US: Implement enterprise-class solutions for cross-channel and online commerce supporting all e-Commerce business models leveraging e-Commerce technologies and product suite. Perform gap analysis on requirements, migrate data from legacy systems, developing and documenting business process flows. Create solutions from proposal through implementation and go-live. Troubleshoot and identify potential problems and make appropriate changes as necessary. Leverage product infrastructure technologies as core components of the architecture and maps business value to the recommended solution. Lead complex enterprise level consulting engagements linking technology infrastructure solutions to client business initiatives. Establish and lead enterprise project governance office and associated methodologies which mitigate project risk, ensure successful deployment and achieve intended business value. Communicate and gain acceptance of the recommended architecture at the C-level as well as with the clients' technical community. Develop best practices and repeatable intellectual property to create high value enterprise solutions leveraging product technology. Utilize IBM WebSphere Commerce; Java/J2EE; Architecture and Design of Portals and e-Commerce applications; Development of Portals and e-Commerce applications; Databases (IBM DB2, Oracle; Systems Integration; Configuration Management; and Cloud Technologies. Required: Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related (employer will accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master's degree) and one (1) year of experience as an Architect, Consultant, Analyst or related. One (1) year of experience must include utilizing IBM WebSphere Commerce; Java/J2EE; Architecture and Design of Portals and e-Commerce applications; Development of Portals and e-Commerce applications; Databases (IBM DB2, Oracle; Systems Integration; Configuration Management; and Cloud Technologies.
