IBM Senior Offering Manager, Identity Governance in Armonk, New York
An Offering Manager defines an offering and owns strategy of that offering within a market segment. He/she sets detailed direction and priorities across disciplines, and is accountable for driving commercial results of the assigned offerings.
In this role, the Senior Offering Manager will be responsible for setting the strategy and driving the business results for the IBM Security Identity Governance portfolio of offerings. This will include close collaboration with cross-functional teams, both within and outside of IBM, in order to set the direction for innovative go-to-market strategies (e.g., sales, tech sales, enablement, marketing, AR, development, business partners, and more). The Senior Offering Manager will use IBM Design Thinking to interpret client needs and develop Hills, experience roadmap, and offering design specifications. He/she will work closely with the development team to ensure new releases are developed on time and with high quality. The Senior Offering Manager will frequently engage with clients to solicit feedback, communicate strategy, and ensure the continued growth and evolution of the vibrant client community (e.g., via user groups, customer road shows, and sales support).

• Be creative and efficient in solving complex and time-critical problems
• Demonstrate written and verbal communication, problem solving, interpersonal, and time management skills
• Continually grow skills to enhance mainframe, security, and offering management expertise and contribution to the team
• Leverage analytical techniques to inform data-driven prioritization decisions
• Have experience managing P&L
This position can be based in either Austin, TX or Cambridge, MA.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
3 years of offering management or product marketing experience
2 years of IBM Design Thinking experience
2 years of experience in executive communications
2 years of cyber security experience or equivalent
Preferred Tech and Prof Experience
4 years of offering management or product marketing experience
3 years of experience with identity and access management
3 years of cyber security experience
2 years in client support and advocacy
3 years experience in executive communications
