IBM Talent Acquisition & Optimization (TA&O) is comprised of a recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) offering that manages global staffing operations and large recruitment campaigns for Fortune 500 companies, as well as a talent acquisition consulting practice and IBM Employment Branding.

IBM Employment Branding (EB) is a service of IBM Talent Acquisition & Optimization that provides culture research, recruitment messaging, career websites and social media recruitment support for our clients, as well as marketing support for the larger TA&O organization.

We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join the EB team as a Social Media Specialist. This role will develop social recruiting content for clients and selected IBM TA&O social channels. This position will work closely with the Digital Strategist Manager to produce smart, personalized and engaging social content that authentically expresses clients’ organizational culture to help attract candidates and support overall recruitment goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate creativity, out-of-the-box thinking and resourcefulness to meet ambitious social recruiting goals.

  • Accurately reflect the voice of each brand accurately and authentically to social.

  • Create and manage social media content calendars that reflect overall recruitment objectives.

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of identified channels and respond appropriately to inquiries or responses.

  • Drive social engagement and build relationships with prospective candidates.

  • Prepare reports summarizing the effectiveness of social media strategies and highlight areas of opportunity.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • At least 2 years of experience writing in a professional capacity

  • At least 2 years of experience in the social media space

  • At least 6 months experience with conversion marketing

  • High School Diploma

  • 10% Travel Annually

  • Fluency in English

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • BA/BS degree with emphasis in marketing, journalism, advertising or related field
