IBM Software Sales Specialist- Distribution Market in Armonk, New York
IBM is seeking a Software Services Specialist with responsibility to identify, develop, and close SW Services opportunities in their client set that drive the expected Signings, Revenue and Gross Profit results for the territory. Through intimate knowledge of the TSS Software Services portfolio, they will identify opportunities, and provide solutions to client business needs that improve their business and financial performance. Successful SW Services Sales Specialists will be able to (1) Select and prioritize the high-growth and value revenue opportunities, (2) Participate in or lead cross functional sales teams, (3) Develop client propositions that clearly identify financial and other business benefits (4) Select the appropriate offerings that will meet client's business objectives and (5) Understand the growing Linux and Open Source Software environment and correlate to support requirements.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
At least 5 years of proven, successful track record of identifying, developing and closing business in the SW Services solution space
At least 5 years experience developing and presenting compelling value propositions focused on financial and business benefit
Preferred Tech and Prof Experience
At least 5 years of successful experience selling Infrastructure Services to Enterprise clients
